Dumping a pile of Legos pieces on a table and providing students the opportunity to create is a great exercise in collaboration and creativity.

Students must sort through pieces and see what fits with what they want to build. They start putting pieces together and wait for their creation to take shape. As some creations are made, others will follow suit to add or complement their creations. Until finally, students are engaging with imaginative play with one another and what they have created.
