Self-care is not indulgent and does not have to be extravagant.

Today’s self-care was simple. It was time spend in the backyard hammock with my kindle.

Identifying simple restorative practices and routines are essential for physical and mental well-being.

Hammock self-care does not require travel, ongoing expense, or set-up. It only requires good Goldilocks weather–not to hot and not to cold.

I invested in a hammock one month into the pandemic. Now two years later it has proved to be a valuable investment both then, now, and into the future.
