No Robots? No problem.

The Beebot Online Simulator allows students to program the online Beebot to move along an alphabet mat. This is a great supplement to unplugged activities where students use directional cards to “program” their classmates to move. This is also a great option to introduce a Beebot to students or in classrooms where only one robot is available.

No Beebot? Learning Resources Code & Go Mouse offers a similar coding experience in a smaller package. Botley offers a slightly more advanced coding experience with a similar interface.

Whether you use a robot in your classroom or the Beebot online simulator, both provide a great interface for introducing students to algorithms in computer science.
