I attended a Nearpod professional learning today and was pleasantly surprised by the updates to the collaborate board. I haven’t used Nearpod much lately but it was my go to instructional tool during online learning. As I head back into a more traditional classroom teaching assignment next year, I am excited about the possibilities.
The updates to the collaborate board have made creating them so much more intuitive. All the settings are at the top.
The default remains the grid but now columns are an option, similar to padlet. Also across the top are easy access to student options with on/off sliders along with different media types. Don’t want students to be able to add gifs? You can turn off that option.
I’m excited to explore these updates further with my students.
