#100DayProject
Starting on February 13, I began the 100 Day Project. The premise is to do something creative for 100 days. My creative thing is writing and publishing online for 100 days.
Boom CardsTM
I am creating, publishing and selling Boom Cards. They are limited to digital math task cards that allow students to practice their computation skills in a step-by-step, visual format.
Self-Publishing Adventures
I recently created a few notebooks within KDP publishing. They are available on Amazon.
You may ask why? I wanted to learn how to self-publish and this provided an easy entry point. I am working on a visual math practice book that I plan on self-publishing in the future.
Books I’m Reading/Listening To
- Uncommon Sense Teaching: Practical Insights in Brain Science to Help Students Learn, by Barbara Oakley, PhD; Beth Rogowsky, EdD; and Terrence J. Sejnowski, PhD. I’m reading this as part of a professional development course.
- Teacher Credibility and Collective Efficacy Playbook by Doug Fisher, Nancy Frey, and Dominique Smith. I’m reading this as part of a teacher book club.
